Wednesday 3rd August

What we did today:

There were only 15 of us today, so a very small class indeed. In English we focussed on our entries and exits and completed some activities in our handwriting books to master these skills.

In Maths we used grid paper and turned shapes into other shapes ie a triangle into a square; a square into a rectangle. We then demonstrated our knowledge of lines of symmetry using coloured paper to make our own shapes. Students then folded these shapes to determine how many lines of symmetry each shape has.

To help with consolidation of knowledge relating to lines of symmetry, please visit this website:

The students have Science thisafternoon with Mrs Fernandez.

Diary note: 2S is hosting Worship next Wednesday from 12:20pm in the IGC.

2S Star of the Day Award: Cameron A.

Well done Cameron for listening well and completing your work accurately and as neatly as possible. You have shown all of your peers respect by displaying beautiful manners. Congratulations!
